Dr. Marvin Hausman

Robert Cardwell is the Chief Strategy Officer of Genetics Institute of America. He has over 25 years experience in the health care industry in the areas of pharmaceuticals, laboratory diagnostics, pathology, and information systems technology. In the past, Robert provided Senior Executive advisory services to Healthcare and Healthcare Information Technology companies, including serving as Chief Strategy Officer. Previously, he held various leadership positions with Core Diagnostics, Inc (formerly OncoMDx, Inc) located in Palo Alto, California and in New Delhi, India, and with CorePlus, LLC, a specialty pathology company headquartered in Miami, Florida. Prior to joining CorePlus,  Robert was a principal in a medical diagnostics consulting company focused on the laboratory industry.  He has held various sales and marketing positions with Polymedco, Inc.,  Dianon Systems, Inc.,  Palm Beach Pathology,  and Solvay Pharmaceuticals.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Duke University including a summer semester of study at the Duke Marine Laboratory at Beaufort, North Carolina.  After completing his degree, he served as an Officer of United States Marines.

His professional memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
